Teachings

Messianic Bible study and topical teaching's site is a listing of various pages of Messianic Teaching in a basic Bible study format. You'll also find topical lessons available in our recordings at Chavurah Shalom. We recommend that you start under the Introduction to Messianic Teaching to give you a basic understanding of Messianic beliefs. This perspective is consistent throughout all the recorded teaching. The teaching site is always "under construction" because new lessons are continually added.
About Us

Who we are

We are a congregation of Messianic believers, regardless of ethnic background, who choose to maintain the Hebrew culture from which the Bible came. Our mission here at Chavurah Shalom is to present Yeshua as the Messiah, the only means of salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile, Romans 1:16. Our heart is to focus on Yeshua as the author and finisher of our faith, and seek to live life as He lived life, 1 John 2:6, 1 Peter 2:21. Our teaching ministry is to present the whole word of God in its original context.

Services

Worship services at Chavurah Shalom revolve around the Biblical Sabbath. Shabbat begins Friday evening at sundown and ends Saturday evening at sundown. We currently meet at 7:00 PM on Friday evenings for Erev Shabbat service, and on Saturday morning at 11:00 am for liturgy, 1:00 pm for Shabbat School and Parashah study. At 2:00 pm we have a community Oneg followed by Hebrew classes and fellowship at 3:30. At 7:00 PM we begin Havdalah service. Our services include the typical liturgy, Davidic dance, music, and teaching the Bible from the Jewish or Hebraic perspective and culture in which it was written.
